Now in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada - I'm originally from Quispamsis in the Kennebecasis River Valley. I am intrigued by colour and texture. My work explores the luxury of touch. I often hand-dye my yarns to increase their beauty and vibrancy. Most recently I have begun developing home decor designs - with an eye to placing one-of-a-kind hand-dyed functional pieces in a home - to be lived with, and to be used. My line has expanded to include rugs, pillows and runners My background includes Theatre and Music. Their influence is seen in all my work. Theatre is like the dramatic colour and texture, engaging the audience, while music is reflected in the rhythm of my work and provides the inspiration for this in nature. I am currently working on an Installation Piece - The Forest - a work in progress not yet ready for viewing. I am always pushing the limits of craft vs. art. This helps keep my senses aware and prepared to try new projects with fresh and varied combinations of fibres and colours. Check out
