Where have I sought only myself in my work,
in my family, in my recreation, in my leisure time, in my Church work?
Can I think of some instances in my life where the seeking of self has brought ruin
upon whatever I was doing?
Can I think of an instance where I have sacrificed myself for the sake of God or
others?
What happened as a result?
Pray
Pray for the grace to put oneself last and God and others first.
Contemplate
Be open to any insights about the value of self-sacrifice.
