12 Steps through the Gospel

This material will assist in applying the 12-step principles familiar to many in light of both the Scriptures as well as the Liturgy of the Church and in particular, the Sacraments as a means of grace and healing.

The materials found here were first used by Fr Lance McAdam and me in our neighbouring parishes - of Gondola Point and Hammond River in the Diocese of Fredericton. We shared the teaching role equally and to the benefit not only of ourselves but our parishioners as well.

Supplementary material is also included on the menu on the right of your screen. Included in this is Bob Dylan's "Every Grain of Sand" - as they work their way into our shoes and challenge us in our resolve to continue on the journey.

As well, you will find the l'Arche Hymn. You may know it. It speaks clearly to us, encouraging us to begin a journey and not to falter - knowing that foot prints show that we are not travelling alone.
