Bishop Beaver College is pleased to announce the appointment of the Reverend Sofie N’Twinkie to a personal chair at Bishop Beaver and a Senior Fellowship (sic) at Mixon Hall. 

Rev’d N’Twinkie has scored a major academic success with her acclaimed recent book, Frying Bishops and Episcopal Overflight: Queer Synergies in Imperialist and Sexist Conservatisms in the Nineteenth and Twenty-first Centuries (Wheatly-in- the-Valley: Trouser Press, 2004).

We are proud to have such an outstanding scholar of international repute joining us. She will fill a significant lacuna in our research and teaching offerings. With this appointment Bishop Beaver College has become the foremost institution for research on the Anglican Communion in international othered contexts.
