We Know By Faith

Thomas doubts; will not believe, requires proof

He touches Jesus’ flesh, hand in his side

then knows! "My Lord and God" he cried!

But bless’d are those of faith, who know the truth.

Faith motivates, a certainty which moves;

faith will not leave us still; we are sent on.

Inward lit, the heart, in Christ, has seen the dawn

the truth for us, in ever-fresh Good News.

By faith in Jesus Christ we are empowered.

We cannot lose; we are with victory showered.
