million dollar baby
Family values suck. If Clint hadn’t had it for Hilary Swank with any luck she’ d be alive today. Thanks a bunch. He gets sucker-punched by father love. She, on the other hand, gets sucker-punched period, a myriad of dangers. Clint’s dejected; father-guilt KO’s Clint, he wilts, takes the count - the amount ? Three Oscars. She gets one too. It’s owed. She’s a good kid, lives the code; americans are fearless, lonely, see? Tear- less Clint burns. He’s a bad dad, she’s the tough kid. Get it? The balance turns. (Bite your tongue!) You can bet it, She’s the right stuff, Wants to die, watch her try. You know the odds. Among the gods she’s myth america!!
