An Imperfect Life poetry by Fr. Harold Macdonald |

God is a story told in many a tongue which claims veracity, a “no” or “yes”; sufficiently persistent to impress the Academy; have a place among the schools of learning. There’s no escaping God! Pro or con. One might as well ignore Arithmetic, that two and two are four. If faith calls, no meager hope is shaping consciousness. God wills more than we expect, desire or deserve. Unbelief so small! Life a mere three score years and ten, that’s all ? Great things we should anticipate, project a better end. Eternity’s too short for generosity of heaven’s sort. . |
