Sex You Have Always With You
Lacking heated sexual controversy would not the Church of England sink from view? Without the King’s Great Matter, whom he’d woo, Whom to behead, who’d receive his mercy? No mention then of mundane things, of sin! But lawyers, courts, Archbishops, issued briefs theologians warned the King or gave relief preoccupied as he with Anne Boleyn. Now again, we consider who can wed if all carnality is blessable; if same sex unions are detestable; what Anglicans can share the marriage bed. In peace, we could have time to say our prayers to help the poor lift heavy loads of cares.
