God Shoots, God Scores
Belief in God makes ample common sense, indeed our circumstance demands it. Dogmatic faith does not obscure but fits; nature and grace each other compliment. The trouble is it doesn’t often work. Instead, distinctions, paradoxes, vex. Its claim is simple, its excuse complex; in the fine print, denial always lurks. But God is proud of the divinity, acts not according to our wisest thoughts determines not as we think heaven ought; God’s self-regard exceeds infinity. Ergo, attend God’s sovereign, holy, Name, And you will see Who shoots, Who scores, Who wins the game.
