An Imperfect Life poetry by Fr. Harold Macdonald |

To have no religion is not the worst state of mind; many the decent atheist! But to hold a false faith is less than least; exalts the foolish, puts the error first. The ardent skeptic bests the gullible fanatic, for whom passion’s petrified into rock, one idea deified, (or two at most), and never null-able; never denied by horrid consequence - genocide, blatant hatred of the Jews or of Islamic people in the news. Erase them! Lest they give more than offence. Shake me not with thought! With ideas risk! I would become a mindless obelisk!
