Jew at Prayer Yeshua (Jesus) attended Synagogue regularly, and visited the Temple in Jerusalem from the time of his birth... The Feast of the Presentation. At puberty, he astonished the Doctors in the Temple. About his Father's business, he explained to his parents who were mad with fear thinking the boy lost in the crowded city! Yeshua (Jesus) taught his followers how to pray and we are the beneficiaries of what has come to be known as The Lord's Prayer. Prayer was part of his life at the threshold of his death in Gethsemane and words we have come to honour as his Last Words echo prayer from Golgotha ... |
