Unit 10 - Rule of Life
Prayer, to be used daily throughout the week
Stir up, O Lord, our wills, and assist us by your grace, that we may bring forth plenteously the fruit of good works, and receive from you a rich reward through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Each day you will have a brief passage of Scripture to read. Questions are asked after each passage and you are to talk these over with your family.
Every Christian man or woman should from time to time frame for himself a Rule of Life in accordance with the precepts of the Gospel and the faith and order of the Church; wherein he may consider the following:
Discussion 1 -
the regularity of the attendance at public 
worship
and especially at the holy Communion...
Discussion 2 - the
practice of private prayer, bible-reading,
and
self-discipline...
Discussion 3 - bringing
the teaching and example of Christ
into his everyday life...
Discussion 4 - the
boldness of his spoken witness to his faith
in Christ...
Discussion 5 - his
personal service to the Church and the community...
Discussion 6 - the
offering of money according to his means
for the support of the work of
the Church at home and
overseas...
