Contemplation
Not a word is said, just a simple gaze, ‘Tis there the mind stays under God’s brilliant rays.
Dark night it seems beneath those beams. Yet the soul is filled with peace, and loving knowledge doth increase. o heavenly bliss, 0 heavenly bliss.
The Church’s precious treasure, grace-filled beyond all measure this holy contemplation, embracing all creation, And raising up to God All humankind.
