Spring

We’re here the trumpets blow,

to grace the earth below.

The primrose, the violet blue,

so delicate, they spread their hue.

“We’re here”, their silent song,

to our Maker we belong.

The pearly snowdrops

who in spring,

the newborn year doth hearl,

The gentle crocus, purple and gold,

decked in royal apparel.

Earth’s a reflection of heaven.

God’s love for humankind.

That burning love within His breast,

onto the cross did bind.

And so with joy we thank Him.

He is our Maker too.

Made in his own image and likeness,

each spring,

He makes all things new.
