Under Construction

Santa and meA very high number of films - more in fact than you might imagine - make at least an oblique reference to Christmas.  Sometimes it is only in the set - a street seasonally decorated, or an unobtrusive tree festooned in a Yule-tide living room.  Sometimes Christmas is referred to in the dialogue.

If you know of any films that should be included in this listing, I'd be obliged if you'd email me at msgr@msgr.ca and tell me the name of the movie, video or DVD.  If you could elaborate in two or three sentences, so much the better.

I have noticed this phenomenon for quite a while.  Only recently did someone suggest that a page be posted documenting the occurrences.  I know that It's a Wonderful Life is a Christmas flick.  And so are the many variants on A Christmas Carol.  Worthy of note, I think, are the dozens of non-seasonal-specific films that mention Christmas... and usually when Christmas adds nothing to the story line or plot development!

Thanks for your input!
